Thanks for the navigation tutorial. Actually, I’ve never used wordpress to make a blog. I tried a long time ago, back in the first semester but thought it was less user friendly than blogger. Are there added benefits you guys see in wordpress over blogger? Thanks.

WordPress is okay but it is a bit buggy as you can see in the resources page. It changes font size as if it has a mind of its own. I haven’t tried blogger but maybe I should. You can program your own templates but I haven’t got that far into it. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for this really cool and interesting unit! As somebody said on VoiceThread–it’s one of those things that I’ve always wondered about, but have never taken the time to learn. Thanks for “requiring” me to learn! Also, I’ve noticed that there aren’t any ads on your wordpress site. Generally with free sites one has to deal with advertisements. Is that not the case with WordPress?

Thanks for the feednback. There is so much to learn about virtual worlds and second life. Just visiting the many educational sites is worth the time it takes to get into SL. I think that you can turn off the ads in the widget area, so you have control on what displays on the page. Make sure you watch some of hte videos from vodpod on the right side of the blog.
